About this trip
Wade the upper Madison River chasing wild brown and rainbow trout in the heart of southwestern Montana. We work the riffles, runs, and bankside pockets between Quake Lake and Ennis — some of the most productive water in the country. All gear and flies are provided. Suitable for beginners learning to cast and experienced anglers looking to sharpen their hatch-matching skills.

Jake put us on fish immediately. Learned more in four hours than in years of fishing on my own. Already booked the float trip for next month.

First time fly fishing ever. Jake was incredibly patient. I landed four fish including a beautiful 18-inch rainbow. Could not have asked for a better introduction to the sport.

The Madison is exactly what you imagine when you picture Montana fly fishing. Jake knows every riffle and run. We had fish on within the first 15 minutes.

Great trip. Flows were a little high for wading but Jake adapted and found us calmer water. Ended up catching more fish than expected. Professional operation.

Best day of fishing I have ever had. Period. Jake floated us through water I would never have found on my own. Brown trout averaging 17 inches. We stopped counting after 20 fish.
