When you use guía — whether as a guest booking a trip or a guide listing your service — we collect information necessary to operate the platform:

• ·Name, email address, and password when you create an account
• ·Payment information processed by Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers)
• ·Trip booking details including dates, group size, and guest notes
• ·Messages sent between guests and guides through our messaging system
• ·Reviews and ratings you submit after a completed trip
• ·Usage data: pages visited, search terms, and device/browser type for analytics

How we use it

We use your information to:

• ·Operate the booking platform and process transactions
• ·Connect guests with guides and facilitate trip communications
• ·Send booking confirmations, trip reminders, and platform updates
• ·Improve the product based on how people use it
• ·Prevent fraud and maintain platform security

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Third-party processors

guía uses the following third-party services to operate:

• ·Stripe — payment processing and guide payouts. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant.
• ·Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure, hosted on AWS.
• ·Vercel — web hosting and content delivery.

Each processor has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing will@guiaoutdoors.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account directly from your account settings.
