Terms of Service

The platform

guía is a marketplace that connects guests with independent fly fishing and hunting guides. We provide the technology — booking, payments, messaging, and reviews. Guides are independent contractors, not employees of guía. The services described in listings are provided by guides, not by guía.

For guests

• ·You must be 18 or older to create an account and make bookings.
• ·Payment is collected at the time of booking. Guides confirm within 24 hours.
• ·Cancellations made 48+ hours before a trip receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to the guide's stated policy.
• ·You are responsible for holding any required fishing or hunting licenses for your trip location.
• ·guía is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss during a guided trip. Purchase appropriate travel and activity insurance.

For guides

• ·You must hold all required state and federal licenses for your guiding operation.
• ·Trip listings must accurately represent the services offered, including pricing, duration, and inclusions.
• ·Commission fees are charged per completed booking per the rate on your active plan.
• ·guía may remove listings or accounts that violate our policies or receive consistent low-quality reviews.
• ·You are responsible for all tax obligations on income earned through the platform.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, guía is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or participation in any trip booked through it. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in dispute.

Changes to these terms
