About this fly
Say what you want about the San Juan Worm, it works. Trout eat aquatic worms year-round, and after any rain or high water event this fly is the single most effective pattern in the box. Tied in red, pink, and brown. Fish it as the point fly under a heavy nymph, or dead-drift it alone through seams. Tied on TMC 2457 with Ultra Wire Midge ribbing for segmentation.
