About this fly

The Pheasant Tail Nymph is arguably the most effective trout nymph ever created. Simple, sparse, and deadly effective, it mimics mayfly nymphs with uncanny accuracy. Fish it under an indicator, as the dropper in a dry-dropper rig, or high-stick it through pockets. Tied with natural pheasant tail fibers and copper wire rib on TMC 3761 hooks.
